Works created and inspired by celebrated pop artist Andy Warhol will be on display at two venues in Lancaster beginning on April 11.

The will host an exhibit titled "Art Goes Pop: American Pop Art." The collection includes works byAndy Warhol, William Wegman, Robert Arneson, Christo, Jim Dine, Robert Indiana, Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein and other artists whose pop culture art defied fine art conventions of the time.

Meanwhile, the will feature "James Warhola: Visiting a Pop Icon." Warhola was the nephew of Andy Warhol, and Warhola wrote and illustrated a children's book about visiting his celebrity uncle. Original watercolor illustrations from the book, "Uncle Andy's," will be on display along with pages from Andy Warhol's early sketchbooks.

Both exhibits will have opening receptions on April 11, followed by a Warhol-inspiired evening at Tellus 260. The night will be a celebration inspired by Warhol's gallery The Factory, and will feature performances from a Velvet Underground cover band.
